Salford City FC release limited edition jackets to raise money for Salford Lads Club
I was among the throng of supporters keen to purchase a limited edition adidas jacket kindly produced by Salford FC and released for sale at the Lads Club, last Saturday October 21st. I am happy to say I got one and its a beauty, well worth the wait on a cold autumn morning. Salford FC helped to raise a massive 10k in doing this so please do take a look look at their press release for details.

Eagle-eyed people may have clocked the club’s iconic doorway, band room and Edwardian concert hall in the latest menswear campaign from M&S – alongside nearby Castlefield and the cobbles of Ancoats. Filmed back in the summer and set to the tune of Salford native band New Order, Salford lads and girls Club are so chuffed that the brand chose them and the city to site their campaign and raise the clubs profile to new audiences! We hope young members got a kick out of seeing the door they come through each week on their TV screens!
