I joined GM Youth Fed in October 2020 and thoroughly enjoy working with my fellow Trustees and the Trust’s staff to bring about transformational change for young people in the local area. I am also a director of the Ormside Mill Residential Centre, an outdoor activity centre in the Lake District jointly owned by GM Youth Fed and another Charity.
In my “day job” I am a solicitor specialising in residential development, as General Counsel for BoKlok UK (a joint venture between Skanska and IKEA) which delivers modular homes in the south and south west of England. I am part of the Senior Leadership Team of BoKlok UK, and my responsibilities include legal, governance, ethics and overseeing a number of BoKlok’s strategic relationships. Prior to that, I spent 20 years working in private practice and was formerly a Partner in an international law firm.
In my spare time, I can often be found outdoors walking my Labrador. I am an avid reader and love to cook for family and friends. I also enjoy travelling far and wide, and sporting activities including swimming, running, cycling, netball, tennis and skiing.
