1907

The movement continued to grow until 1907 when they came together under the banner of the Manchester & District Federation of Lads Clubs, which was later changed to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester and more recently to the Greater Manchester Youth Federation.  The aim of the clubs was to offer young people a broader platform for competition, residentials and training, and to bring people together from all parts of the county.
