I joined GMYF in September 2021 when the charity was in an exciting time of change and growth. Together, over the last 3 years we have developed massively, including outdoor education opportunities which I have loved working on. I have grown up through youth groups and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and I am very passionate about how both can bring incredible benefits and opportunities to young people. As operations manager and overviewing our outdoor programme, it has been amazing to contribute towards our charity’s bigger projects and visions, whilst still being part of the world of outdoor adventure education.
Outside of work I love to go on great walks, go for coffee with friends, or relax either with a good book or by weaving, although being a relatively new mum, I don’t get much time for that anymore!
